This is a simple rustic painting on wood, a departure from my work with many layers. Mossy green ink and soft oil pastel details bring this small abstract landscape to life, giving the feeling of summers in the country and afternoons spent enjoying iced tea in a meadow. The natural wood grain shows through in the lighter ink areas, adding to its charm. The sides are painted a beautiful light ultramarine blue.
